Compliance (organization)
Compliance with a company’s code of ethics and professional conduct is standard practice in agile. [PMI Agile Community of Practice Community Charter. Project Management Institute.]
Control limits for Agile projects
Control limits – those which set an objective range to indicate whether a process is controlled or stabilized or defect free (e.g., within three sigmas of the mean) – may be used in an agile project. Generally, a control limit of three-sigma (s) is used on a Shewhart control chart.
A sigma refers to one standard deviation. So three sigmas indicates a limit three standard deviations away from the mean in both the positive and negative direction.
This applies to normal data, where a normal distribution curve has been obtained.
